Pear VC Website
I redesigned the Pear VC website to showcase their founder-first mission, in alignment with new branding guidelines I developed.
Objectives:
I worked closely with the firm's GPs to redesign a streamlined website experience for our community of founders, LPs, and future investors. Conducted market research and user interviews to identify areas for improvement and build an updated navigation architecture.
🔧 Skills: Web design, UI/UX design
👩‍💻 Type: Internship
⏰ Timeline: July - Sept 2024
Execution:
The final website features the updated brand guidelines I designed, and focuses on storytelling what sets Pear VC apart: founder-first investors with a track record of exceptional portfolio companies. The new homepage prominently showcases founder testimonials, articulates Pear's differentiating value, and elevates the thought leadership blog. I designed high-fidelity mockups in Figma, developing multiple concepts before finalizing the designs and handing them off to the web development team. The site launched in January 2025!
Hedley & Bennett Chef Notebook
I lead the design and end-to-end development of the Chef Notebook for a leading cookware company.
🔧 Skills: Product Design, Graphic Design
👩‍💻 Type: Internship
⏰ Timeline: June - August 2023
Objectives:
The objective of the product was to bring together deep functionality, aesthetics, and brand storytelling to help cooks keep track of their recipes, packaged at a reasonable price to boost AOV.

Execution:
I conducted user research with 10 professional chefs, out of which I concluded to prioritize durability, versatility, and informativeness. I developed the artwork and packaging design, worked with vendors to place the order, and developed pricing with the CFO.

Balancing functionality with H&B's distinctly bold, delightful brand.

H&B brand color were used in this mesmerizing cabbage pattern.

Conversions were vetted with chefs for relevance and accuracy.

The Egg Lamp
I designed and built an aluminum-casted wall lamp for a Stanford class, inspired by my love of eggs.
Objectives:
Conceived during ME103: Product Realization: Design and Making, I wanted the Egg Lamp to embodies whimsy, utility, and joy—reflecting my deep appreciation for the simple beauty of eggs.

Execution:
I mastered diverse manufacturing techniques—from mold creation and aluminum casting to milling, lathe turning, water jet cutting, silicon molding, and 3D printing—I significantly advanced my skills in the machine shop, as well as my prototyping and CAD skills.
